Kindgergarten - Kid Pix Activities - matching letters to pictures, matching numbers to pictures
1st Grade - All About Me Microsoft Word Activity. Fill in the blanks, font effects, add a picture. Activity Directions
2nd Grade - Introduction to Power Point with State Probe, typing in text boxes, moving text boxes, inserting clip art, resize clip art, State Probe Planning Sheet
3rd Grade - Windows Movie Maker - import Kid Pix Pictures, create a title and end credit, add effects, and record their story. Enter Fitness test results for Coach. End of the year typing test.
4th - "Not too Late Night Talk Show Host Quest" Directions. Create a PowerPoint over a historical person. Excel - Math Baseball, gather data by playing math baseball on Funbrain.com, then use simple SUM and AVERAGE formulas, and add a chart. Enter Fitness test results for Coach. End of the year typing test.
5th - Excel - Math Baseball, gather data by playing math baseball on Funbrain.com, then use simple SUM and AVERAGE formulas, and add a chart. Enter Fitness test results for Coach. End of the year typing test.
6th Grades- Excel - Math Baseball, create a graph, averages, create a baseball card. Create a website page. Enter Fitness test results for Coach. End of the year typing test.
3rd - 6th graders will continue to have 5 - 10 minutes of typing instruction/practice each class period to obtain their typing goals:
3 - 15 Words Per Minute (WPM) at 80 – 100% accuracy
4 - 20 Words Per Minute (WPM) at 80 – 100% accuracy
5 - 25 Words Per Minute (WPM) at 80 – 100% accuracy
6 - 30 Words Per Minute (WPM) at 80 – 100% accuracy
